The yummy bite-sized stuffed mushrooms are a perfect appetizer and is easy to prepare.
Ingredients
1. Button mushrooms – 300 gm
2. Spinach – 150 gm
3. Cream cheese – 150 gm
4. Grated garlic – 1 tsp
5. Pepper – 1 tsp
6. Salt to taste
7. Chilly tomato sauce – 3 tsp
8. Mustard sauce – to garnish
9. Mozzarella cheese – 1 cup
Preparation
1. Wash and clean the mushrooms. Remove the stems and keep aside.
2. Finely chop the spinach and mix it with cream cheese, pepper, salt and garlic. Keep aside.
3. Stuff the mushrooms with the spinach mixture and spread little chilly tomato sauce on top and top it with shredded mozzarella.
4. Preheat the air fryer to 150 degrees and air fry the mushrooms for 10-12 minutes. It can also be baked in a preheated oven at 200 degrees or shallow fry in a pan.
5. Garnish with mustard sauce and serve hot.
Tips
1. If using a frying pan then keep a small katori of water in the centre and cover the pan and fry on low flame.
2. The mushroom stems can be finely chopped and mixed with the stuffing.
