Mango tiramisu is a twist to the classic Italian tiramisu. This is a delicious dessert which is light, fresh and full of juicy mango.
Ingredients
1. Glucose biscuits – 160 gm
2. Mango puree – 2 cup
3. Chopped mangoes – 2
4. Mascarpone cheese – 200 gm
5. Whipping cream – 100 gm
6. Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
7. Castor sugar – 4 Tbsp
8. Juice of 1 lemon
9. Biscuit crumbs for garnish
Preparation
1. Beat mascarpone cheese with whipped cream, castor sugar, lemon juice and vanilla essence. Keep aside.
2. Dip 80 g of biscuits in mango puree and layer them at the bottom of a serving dish.
3. Spread the cut mangoes on top of the biscuit layer.
4. Spread half of the cream mix over the mango layer and repeat the layers.
5. Garnish with biscuit crumbs and mango puree.
6. Refrigerate for 4-5 hours before serving.
Tips
1. Sponge cake or lady finger can also be used in place of biscuits.
2. If mango is not sweet add some sugar while making puree.
3. Add some water to the puree to make it thin so that the biscuits can be easily soaked.
