INSTANT WHEAT DOSA

This is made with whole wheat flour (atta) and is a healthy and easy to make dish with readily available ingredients.


Ingredients

1. Wheat flour – 1 cup

2. Boiled and mashed potato – 1 small

3. Tomato – 1 small (puree)

4. Green chilli – 2

5. Chilli powder – ½ tsp

6. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp

7. Onion – ½ chopped

8. Asafoetieda (hing) – ¼ tsp

9. Curry leaves

10. Coriander leaves

11. Grated coconut (optional) – 2 Tbsp

12. Grated carrot (optional) – 2 Tbsp

13. Cumin seeds (optional) – ½ tsp

14. Salt


Instructions

1. In a bowl mix atta with chilli powder, turmeric powder, hing, chopped curry leaves, chopped coriander leaves, chopped green chilli and salt.

2. Add tomato puree and chopped onions, grated coconut, grated carrot, cumin seeds and mashed potatoes.

3. Add water little by little and mix well.

4. Add enough water to make it like a smooth dosa batter.

5. Make the dosa on medium flame. Cook covered and flip it.


Tips

1. This dish can be served with chutney, sauce etc..
