HEALTHY ONE JAR OVERNIGHT OATS

An easy nutritious, gluten free, no cook, one jar packed with vitamins and minerals.


Ingredients

1. Rolled oats or any oats – ½ cup

2. Chia seeds – 2 Tbsp

3. Almond milk or water or any milk – ¾ cup

Toppings

1. Peanut butter – 2 Tbsp

2. Strawberries, bananas, almonds, apple, fresh coconut etc


Preparation

1. Add oats, chia seeds and milk to the jar or a bowl and mix well.

2. Cover and refrigerate overnight (at least 4 hours).

3. Add pea nut butter, fruits, dry fruits, coconut and mix well and serve.


Tips

1. Adjust the quantity of oats to milk according to your desired consistency.

2. Can be made in one large bowl or in smaller individual bowls.

3. Add your favourite seasonal fruits.

4. Avoid citrus fruits and melon if using milk.

5. Use toppings of your choice like maple syrup, honey, jaggery powder, jam or chocolates.

6. Cashew milk, coconut milk, oat milk etc can be used for soaking.

7. Pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds or any other edible seeds can be added.
